In silence…

you leave.

I’ll keep it all inside until one day I’ll say nothing at all.

When your silence takes place and calmness kicks in, that’s when you know it’s over. No matter what it is, a job, a relationship, a lifestyle… whatever it is.

When you’re always one step ahead of everything, of everyone, it gets harder and you suffocate. The path becomes too obvious, and if you do nothing about it, you feel disappointed in yourself.

They don’t see life the way you do. They don’t know how to live the way you do. They don’t care about the same things, and they don’t know how to ignore the other things. That’s why you’re rare. That’s why you’re amazing. That’s why when things go bad you know exactly what to do to pick yourself back up, real quick so that no one notices. You don’t want help; you don’t need anyone’s pity.

You’ve always gotten your way. You know how to maneuver around. You know what everyone wants to hear and when. It hurts you when you notice that the people you care about the most are not listening back to you. It makes you feel like you’re not important enough, worse yet you feel disrespected.

If only they knew, if only everyone around you understood what you mean. If only they saw things the way you do. Life isn’t meant to be lived so complicatedly. It truly isn’t that harsh. You make it what you want it to be. You either reflect your dark side through it or you live through it with brightness.

If you can see life differently than everyone else, then you are seeing it right, then you are on the correct path. Most people, most humans will not see what you mean, they won’t know how important it is to enjoy the simplest of things. Most of them, they just want things that end, moments that disappear. They all choose to live in the now, the now only. Tomorrow yesterday’s now will be forgotten. The type of now that adds nothing to their tomorrow. That’s where they won’t understand you. Why delve into matters that don’t build you, even in the slightest way? Why interact in what will give you very minimal pleasure and then leave you stranded?

They won’t understand you. It will always be difficult for those who are not free within themselves and to themselves to understand someone who is. And that is why, when you finally leave in silence, they will get it, they will talk about you, they will envy you, but they will not learn from you.
